Psychology Research Activity Grant Application

No matter what career path you choose to take with your psychology degree, the experience of conducting research can not only make you a better researcher, but a more critical consumer of information. This skill is something that can set you apart from other employees and other post-graduate students.

SC offers a rare opportunity to spend your time here involved more deeply in the research experience. If you are chosen to receive a research activity grant. Every semester you will get a chance to be apart of different parts of research. From reading about research to designing research, collecting data, analyzing data, and writing it up and sharing it at conferences. Your level of responsibility is directly related to how long you have been at SC. It is very much like an apprenticeship which ends with you conducting an experiment on something you are interested in and taking it to a conference. Students in the past have gone to Reno, NV., Denver, CO. Future trips will include locations in Ft. Worth, TX., Chicago, Il. This experience is truly one of a kind.
