Large Group Campus Visit

Visiting campus is the best way for students to learn more about Southwestern College and the array of opportunities available to them. Request a date for your group to visit campus and we'll build a program centered on your needs. Group visits are offered for groups of at least 10 or more people.

Tours are available Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. If we are able to accommodate your request, you should allow at least 2 hours for your visit. There are no group tours available on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Please allow 2 weeks advanced notice so that we may coordinate the best possible visit for your group.

What to Expect?

A typical campus visit lasts three to four hours and consists of touring the campus and meeting with your admission counselor to discuss the admission, financial aid, and enrollment process.

*Lunch costs $5.00 per person. Sudexo Food Services accepts cash, Visa, MasterCard, or company checks (Company checks should be made out to “Southwestern College.” We recommend you not fill out the total dollar amount of the check until arrival, as refunds are not possible.

The Southwestern College Admissions Office is committed to providing access to our campus for groups interested in learning more about the college. Information sessions and campus tours are organized with the prospective college student in mind, and are not intended for general school field trip purposes.

Our expectations are as follows:

For the best visit experience, Southwestern recommends a group size of 10 students.
Visiting groups will be accompanied by adult chaperones/teachers/sponsors. We recommend one chaperone for every 10 students. The ultimate responsibility for each group rests with these designated adults, not Southwestern College.
Visiting students are expected to conduct themselves as respectful visitors to the campus and not demonstrate disruptive behavior during any aspect of their campus visit. Should such behavior occur, the Southwestern Admissions staff and/or tour guides have the right to terminate the campus visit immediately.
Groups are not permitted to use any electronic devices during a campus information session or tour (e.g., cell phones, iPods, etc).
Tours will take place in the sun, rain, cold, and snow. Only in certain circumstances are tours canceled, which is under the discretion of the Campus Visit Coordinator.
